"Dreams are true while they last, and do we not live in dreams?"
~ Alfred Lord Tennyson ~
Dreams
Her wizard lays waiting in the land of her dreams,
With one wisk of her wand... she's gone so it seems.
Her castle's a wardrobe within her small room,
Where she hides from the world that's filled with such gloom.

A winged horse stands waiting to take her away...
To the land that lays hidden in her dreams every day.
Upon that fine steed she flies through the night,
Through a star studded sky to a land fine and bright.

Where soft footed fairies dance in the breeze...
And sing sweet lullabies to the wind swaying trees.
She lays down in slumber upon a soft bed...
And smiles at the thoughts that flow through her head.

Her poet is tired so he'll end off this poem...
And let his fairy princess go to sleep in her home.
Sweet dreams and God bless you with all of his might,
Take care and I'll see you on some other night.

The above poem was written especially for me
by my poetic friend in Newfoundland... for this I thank him.

"Though dreams can be deceiving
Like faces are to hearts
They serve for sweet relieving
When fantasy and reality lie too far apart."
